Gateway ProfileTM Limited Warranty Addendum
Gateway Pty. Ltd.’s limited warranty and standard terms and conditions will apply to the purchase of your Gateway ProfileTM (the "Product") in all respects with the following modifications:
1. Warranty Term: Gateway warrants to you that the Product (excluding items such as software and documentation) will be free from defects in material and/or workmanship for one (1) year from the date of its delivery to you.
2. Technical Support: Gateway provides you with technical support for your Product for one (1) year from the date of its delivery.
3. No On-site Service: There is no on-site service for the Product.
4. Obtaining Warranty Service: To obtain service under this warranty, contact Gateway Technical Support. If the Gateway Technical Support technician determines that the Product needs warranty service, then he/she will provide you with the locations of authorised service centers to which you should return your product for replacement. It is vital that you back up proprietary and confidential information before returning your Product for exchange (Gateway is not responsible for loss of personal data). You are responsible for the cost of shipping and insurance to Gateway’s authorized service center.
OPTIONAL LIMITED WARRANTY UPGRADE:
You may purchase a warranty upgrade at the time you purchase your Product or within the first year following the date of delivery of your Product. Please call for current prices and availability. Confirmation of your purchase of a warranty upgrade may be required prior to Gateway’s provision of service thereunder.PLEASE NOTE: IN ALL OTHER RESPECTS, GATEWAY’S LIMITED WARRANTY AND STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS WILL APPLY TO THE PURCHASE OF YOUR PRODUCT.
