I bought the HD2200 two years ago and it has already failed. The Gateway logo comes on and then the screen goes blank. [edited-support language]

I bought this monitor a few months ago. It's very buggy. The touch-sensitive buttons are nice; the picture is sharp. But switching input sources is where it starts to have issues. I would have to unplug the monitor and reset it each time it powered down or when I switched from HDMI to DVI, etc. I would personally avoid this monitor. I'm sure I'll be sending this thing back to Gateway for the next 3 years. Who knows, maybe I had a faulty monitor. It won't change my review and what I think of it.

2 months out of warranty the HD2201 died. [edit] Power does not stay on, screen goes blank after a few seconds and then nothing. Won't come on again until you unplug the power cord and plug it back in. Then no screen after a few seconds. It worked fine for 14 months, then it died. Only casual home use, a few hours a week. I took a chance on Gateway even knowing they had poor reliability, shame on me. What a hoot, when I went to submit this, I got an "oops - we're sorry," my chosen nickname "disappointed" was already used.

[edit-support language] the computer was great but will not buy from gateway again ,with no monitor what good is the computer .avoid these monitors and buy somewhere else.

Supreme clarity, color, contrast and texture... A winner for sure and money well spent... now we just need to get my Gateway LX6810 Desktop (purchased at the same time) to stop freezing and shutting down so I can enjoy the screen without it being a still frozen image with a cursor stuck on it. Magic screen though.

I bought this screen because my cousin had got the 24" some time ago and I thought I had to have one, but the 24" was too big. My family has been buying Gateway and only Gateway since 2000 and we still use the computer for main family use. This screen looks really good with my LT1005u and I plan to either get the SX or DX really soon and use HDMI. Really recommend. Very very good purchase; would buy another if I could do dual screen on my netbook.

Wonderful product so far, looked around [at a local retailer], has the best pic of any monitor very crisp and clear, so far so good, buy it if you have the money, anything lcd will have the chance to mess up, so dont be scared off...

Excellent. The best of many I've owned. I use an HDMI hookup which is marginally better than the RGB one.

This monitor is wonderful. With the great picture in this monitor, I can watch videos clearly. And with the matching speaker I bought, I can listen to my music with the great sound. If you're looking for a computer with all the features you're looking for, try the FX Series, it's great!
